Welcome to my family's Ancestors and Genealogy page. Hello, I am Barbara from Northern Michigan. I have been researching my family tree since 1996. My Gr Gr Grandfather, Daniel Palmer, born in New York came to Michigan from Ashtabula County in northeast Ohio in 1862. Daniel Palmer was a cooper and run maple syrup in Leelanau County, MI. Daniel and his two brothers married Hubbard sisters. I transcribed a diary over span of 43 years of a family history entitled "Sarah Palmer Diaries" to be shared with several libraries in the Leelanau County area. Ancestors of other family trees come from the families of Gilles, Haire, Holmes and Pluckers. These families are connected in my family tree from Germany. The reasons for this website is to connect with unknown family members researching the same family branches like Hall and Peck; finding photographs of my ancestors that will fill a gap in my Thompson, Weeks, and Scott families; and to verify any record information to complete a true source of family records for any branch including Impelmans|Impelmance and Laveck|Leveque.
